Celebrate MSBTs & Consecrated Life

On February 2, 1918 the Articles of Incorporation for the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity were signed in the State of Alabama, officially marking the beginning our our sisters’ congregation. How truly fitting that, on this the 103 anniversary of our founding, February 2, 2021 we also mark the 25th anniversary of the World Day of Consecrated life. Truly Providential!

Pope Francis will preside over the Eucharistic Celebration commemorating the XXV World Day of Consecrated Life at 5:30pm in St. Peter’s Basilica.

The World Day of Consecrated Life is dedicated to the wonderful vocation that Pope Francis tells us, makes God’s love for men and women and the entire universe shine forth in various ways.  In the letter we are called “to move from ‘I’ to ‘we,'” realizing “that we are on the same boat, all of us fragile and disorientated, but at the same time important and needed, all of us called to row together” (Pope Francis, Extraordinary moment of prayer, Friday, March 27, 2020). “Be the Samaritans of these days, overcoming temptation to turn inward and weep for ourselves, or to close your eyes to the pain, suffering, and poverty of so many men and women throughout the world.”
