Sr. John Maureen Dorff of Our Lady of Sorrows was born Eleanor Margaret Dorff to John and Anna Seith Dorff on July 10, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY.

Sr. John Maureen entered the MSBTs on August 5, 1960 and professed her final vows on March 25, 1968. During her 60 years as an MSBT, Sr. John Maureen has served in Philadelphia PA, Red Bank NJ, Pensacola FL, Harrisburg PA, Fords NJ, Huntsville AL, Camden NJ and Rego Park NY.

Sister’s various ministries include Catholic Social Services, Catholic Welfare Bureau, Health Care and Parish Ministry.

Sister John Maureen is currently missioned in Philadelphia in the General Treasurer’s Office.
