Advent Hope Advent Joy

I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. (John 15:11)

There can be no joy if there is no hope. Hope fuels joy. Advent is a time to open our hearts to joy.  A time to pound on the door of our heart and prepare it as if it were a stable ready to birth something new – dusting away the cobwebs of anger and resentment, scraping away the mud of any bitterness or pride we might have accumulated, sweep away any disagreeable habit we may have begun or not let go of.  Shut out the darkness, turn on the lights of charity, peace and joy. Join Sister Mary Kay as she guides us through an Advent morning filled with prayer, storytelling, engaging conversation and reflection.

Join us on Tuesday, November 29 (9:00 am-1:00 pm) at the Mother Boniface Spirituality Center.  A morning beverage and muffins will be provided, as well as lunch at noon.  You will be invited to stay after lunch for personal prayer and adoration. The registration fee is $35.00.
