Sister Francis Maura Tierney, MSBT

Celebrating 60 Years

Sister Francis Maura Tierney left her home in Brooklyn, NY on August 5, 1963 to begin her missionary journey as Missionary Servant of the Most Blessed Trinity. This journey has taken her to many states including Massachusetts, Alabama, Mississippi and Pennsylvania where she served primarily in education ministry.

Sister is grateful to have also served in various cultures including the Holy Redeemer School, the Chinese Catholic school in Philadelphia, as well as in parish and religious education ministry in Kingston, Jamaica.

Sister Francis Maura has delighted many with her keen sense of humor, now especially with our Motherhouse Community where she resides and serves as sacristan.
