Easter Appeal
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus,
who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.
Matthew 28:5-6
Dear Friends,
Easter is the most significant and meaningful celebration of the Church year. The events of Holy Week — the Last Supper, the crucifixion, the Resurrection — and the redemption and salvation they bring, are the very heart of our faith.
Propelled by overwhelming joy, Mary Magdelene runs to proclaim this Good News to the apostles, thus being called “the apostle to the apostles.” As Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity we follow Mary’s example — to be apostles — as we proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all we meet. We help to preserve the faith among those who are spiritually neglected and abandoned, especially the poor. By the witness of our lives and the through acts of love and service in our ministries, we bring the JOY, PEACE and HOPE of the Risen Lord to those who are most in need of it.
This Easter, I pray that you will experience the same transformational JOY Mary felt so long ago. May your support of our mission be a proclamation of your faith in the Risen Lord, as our Co-Founder, Mother Boniface profoundly said, “May our Risen Savior comfort and favor you with the sweetness of His Easter peace and joy!”
From all our Sisters, I wish you and yours a most blessed and joyful Easter!
With deep gratitude in the Trinity,
Sr. Marie, MSBT
