Mother’s & Father’s Day Appeal

With Mother’s Day recently passed, and Father’s Day close behind, the Fourth Commandment takes on more significance. We remember with love all our moms and dads, living and deceased, and share our heartfelt gratitude for the countless ways they have loved and supported us.

May is also the month we celebrate Mary, our Heavenly Mother, and the perfection of motherly love. Her compassion is boundless, reaching far and wide. A short step from Mary takes us to St. Joseph who is highly regarded as our patron. In fact, in 1929 our Founder, Fr. Thomas Judge, CM stated, “St. Joseph is pre-eminent among the saints; he has the prestige; he has preference over all the blessed spirits in the Kingdom of God. There is no saint in heaven like unto St. Joseph.” He is a saint that the world needs so much today.

We will soon host a Novena of Masses in honor of Mary, St. Joseph, parents, grandparents, stepparents, and all other parental figures in our lives.
