2026 Jubilarian Celebrating 75 Years

Sr. Anne William grew up in Arlington, Massachusetts. She knew she did not want to be a teacher. In her childhood, a priest came to her parish in Arlington and brought her to Cambridge to meet the MSBT Sisters serving there. She met Sr. Fidelus and Sr. Joan O’Neil who were working in a community center and a retreat center. She found these kinds of mission service attractive.

After entering the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity, Sr. Anne William loved offering hospitality ministry at the retreat center. She also served as a Catechist and made parish visits.

She later worked in Rego Park, New York, doing parish ministry. On Cape Cod- Osterville, Hyannis and Plymouth- she made home visits and taught religious education. In Norwood, Massachusetts, she worked for a short time with Sr. Barbara DeMoranville, MSBT and Sr. Ann Bernadette Marchant, MSBT on parish census work.

Sr. Anne William has always loved our charism and was inspired to learn that our Founder, Fr. Thomas A. Judge, CM was also from Boston. She worked with members of our lay branch, the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate (MCA), including Jean Hession, in census and parish ministries. She served for 34 years in the Diocese of Fall River at St. Mary’s Parish in Mansfield, Massachusetts. She now resides in Philadelphia, at the Mother Boniface Missionary Cenacle at Wesley, where she continues her ministry of prayer.

She is deeply grateful for her vocation and always wanted to be a Sister, as long as she was not teaching. She also expressed gratitude that our Sisters were able to visit their families. We are grateful for her 75 years of dedicated service to God and to the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity.
