All Souls’ Day Appeal
For generations, Catholics have gathered in prayer on All Souls’ Day to remember the faithful departed. Since the earliest days of our order, the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity have embraced this beautiful tradition. We pray not only for our own loved ones, but for all those who have died in God’s grace and friendship. We believe that our prayers can help the souls of the faithful departed as they await the fullness of God’s presence.
This year, I would be honored to place the names of your loved ones in our chapel, too.
Please send me the names of your departed family members and friends using the link below. Our sisters will remember them in prayer on All Souls’ Day and throughout the month of November in the Liturgy of the Hours, at Mass, and during our daily Eucharistic Adoration in our Motherhouse Chapel here in Philadelphia. Our sisters at our other missions will join us in this remembrance as well.
When you send us their names, your loved ones will also be enrolled in the Trinity Treasury. Through this special ministry, they will be remembered each month in a special Mass and in our daily Eucharistic Adoration at the Motherhouse Chapel, as well as in the prayers of our sisters.
This year, our prayers are especially close to home.
Several of our beloved sisters have gone home to God: Sr. Elizabeth Molnar, Sr. Josefina Mendez, Sr. Mary Susanne Thibault, and Sr. Rose Marie Martell. Our sisters have also mourned the loss of parents, relatives, and dear friends. Perhaps you have, too.
We would be honored to remember them with you.
And as we come together in prayer for those we love, I invite you to consider honoring their memory with a gift to support the good works of the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity.
A gift made in memory of someone you love can become a beautiful and lasting memorial. Through your generosity, their memory can help carry forward the work of our sisters among people who are in need.
Our missions serve children, young adults, mothers and families, as well as those who are spiritually neglected and abandoned, especially the poor. Through programs for family life development and religious education, and through our missions in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, our sisters strive to bring faith, hope, and compassionate service to those who need it most.
In this way, a gift made in memory of someone you love can help bring God’s love to someone who needs it today.
I hope you will find comfort in knowing that their names will be remembered in our chapel and that our sisters will pray for their eternal rest.
So long as we live, they too shall live, for they are now a part of us, as we remember them.
Thank you for allowing us to remember your loved ones with you. And thank you for considering a gift to help our sisters continue bringing faith, hope, and compassionate service to those in need.
May the Grace and Peace of the Holy Spirit be with you and your loved ones, now and always.
With deep gratitude in the Trinity,
Sr. Marie, MSBT
