Sister Patricia Cronin

2026 Jubilarian Celebrating 75 Years

Sr. Patricia Cronin was born in Massachusetts and has one bother and one sister. As a child, she loved jumping rope. As a young adult, she was drawn to the MSBT Sisters’ ministries at St. Patrick’s Parish where they served in parish ministry and religious education. At the settlement house, the Sisters taught sewing and baking classes. Sr. Pat was impressed by the variety of ministries that kept the Sisters active and engaged.

Sr. Pat’s life as a Missionary Servants has reflected those diverse variety of ministries. Sr. Pat worked at St. Michael’s in Newark, New Jersey. She taught methods of teaching to volunteer religious education teachers in Birmingham, Alabama. She later served as Secretary to the Generalate and General Treasurer’s Office, as well as serving on the Retreat Staff of the Mother Boniface Spirituality Center in Philadelphia, PA. Her most enjoyable ministry was teaching catechesis to Kindergarten students and doing parish work, and shares that her least favorite task was learning computers.

She now serves in the Ministry of Prayer at Mother Boniface Missionary Cenacle at Wesley in Philadelphia, where she gathers for daily Mass and the rosary, praying for the many intentions of the staff and residents.

We are grateful to her parents for supporting her faith journey as a Missionary Servant of the Most Blessed Trinity. Congratulations, Sr. Pat, on 75 years of witnessing God’s love for the poor and abandoned and bringing Christ into the hearts of many children.
