Who is Sr. Mary Ann Henagan?

In 1995, Sr. Mary Ann joined the National Black Sister Conference. She has served on their Board of Directors and worked on retreats for young women of color, providing them opportunities for a deeper understanding of their Catholic faith. In 2010 the National Black Sisters Conference recognized her many years of ministry to the Black Community as well as her years of service to the Black Sisters Conference by presenting her with their Harriet Tubman Award.
This is what Missionary Servants do…
… because of her concern for the spiritual needs of the marginalized. Her many ministries led her to the poor, the sick, the elderly and the neglected. Impelled by her love of the Holy Spirit she continues to bring God’s the gifts of consolation and peace to the many she meets.
