Set amongst a gorgeous backdrop of over 1,200 acres of nature and 12 miles of walking trails on holy ground, the retreat center is a place that serves those who seek a quiet place for a rejuvenating retreat. The retreat center is seeking volunteers to partner with us who have a passion to serve others in a serene setting for spiritual enrichment. All of our volunteers are welcome to stay overnight, when space permits.
Hospitality (overnight and day) Assist us during retreats by welcoming guests, tending to guest needs, providing emergency response, keeping the common areas clean, performing guest rooms checks, leading guided hikes, and other various potential activities.
Kitchen Help us prep and serve delicious, farm to table meals to our guests, clean up after meals, and ensure the dining room is well stocked with drink and snack supplies.
Gardening We have many, beautiful gardens in various stages of becoming established. Each one requires year round tending for those who love to be outside, weeding, trimming, and watering.
Gift Shop We have a small gift shop for our guests to peruse while on retreat. The shop provides religious keepsakes and handmade items. Volunteers are attentive to guest needs, answer questions, and transact purchases.
Maintenance With over 1,200 acres, 5 buildings and only one maintenance staff, we need help with the simple stuff like changing air filters, painting, repairing outdoor seating and other similar ‘to-do’ items you would normally do on the weekend in your own home.
