Catechist Retreat Day: “Confidently Teaching Our Faith in Today’s Culture”

Speaker: Kelly Tolman

Kelly has been married for 21 years, has four children, and holds a B.A. in Homeland Security and a Master of Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville.
Kelly’s husband is an active-duty Army soldier, allowing them to live all over the U.S. and in Europe. This adventure has given her the opportunity to serve in many different roles, including founding and directing a pregnancy resource center in Georgia and as the Catholic Coordinator of Religious Education for Fort Jackson in South Carolina. She also worked within the Secretariat for Evangelization and Discipleship with the Archdiocese of Boston, where she helped to lead and serve as a speaker for their marriage retreat program. She is a contributing author to the 2nd edition of the “Transformed in Love,” Marriage Preparation Program, and “Love’s Perfect Design: A Guide to Understanding Fertility Awareness.” She is the co-founder and content manager for The Pelican Project and the director of St. Anne Community Outreach in Columbus, GA.

Kelly drinks too much coffee, buys more books than she could ever read, and loves growing in friendship with the saints!

Saints Hilary of Poitiers, Francis de Sales, Elizabeth Ann Seton, and John Paul II, pray for us!
