Come and Rest Awhile ~ A Silent Retreat
You are invited to come away from your ordinary activities to rest in prayerful silence, in the Lord’s company, during this seven-day retreat. Take time for spiritual renewal by quieting the world within and around you. Daily Eucharist will be celebrated.
Retreat Dates: Sunday, July 21, 2024 – Saturday, July 27, 2024
Retreat Time: Retreatreants are invited to come early as 4:00 pm to get settled. The retreat starts with dinner at 5:30 pm and ends after brunch on Saturday.
Silent Retreat with spiritual direction – $500
You can choose to include Spiritual Direction and meet once a day, individually, with an experienced guide who listens to the Holy Spirit with you. The Spiritual Director helps you spend the time well, for example, by suggesting Scripture readings for your meditation. This type of retreat is often called a Directed or Guided Retreat.
Silent Private Retreat – $450
You may want to make a Silent Private Retreat, without spiritual direction In a private retreat, you will focus your attention on the gentle presence of the Holy Spirit. You will not participate in spiritual direction sessions but instead will be guided by your own pace.
Accommodations
ROOMS: Each retreatant will have their own room. All linens and towels are included. Each room has a private sink.
SHOWERS: A common shower room with ample, fully enclosed shower stalls are available. Please bring your own shampoo and toiletries. Flip-flops are also a good idea for your comfort.
MEALS: All meals are included in the retreat registration fee. We will do all we can to support any dietary restrictions. Please let us know in advance so that we can determine how and if we can accommodate your needs.
