Sister Jane O’Connor entered the MSBT on August 5, 1963 and initially took the name “Sr. John Ellen of the Triune God”. She professed final vows on March 25, 1971. During her 60 years as an MSBT, Sister served in Philadelphia, PA; Dublin, GA; Woodstock, VA; White Cypress, MS; Holy Trinity, Prattville and Anniston, AL. Sister Jane’s ministries included Parish Ministry, Religious Education, Vocation/Formation Ministry, MSBT General Councilor, Retreat House Ministry and Catholic Social Services. Sister Jane is currently missioned to Wesley Enhanced Living in Philadelphia, PA. Sister worked many years in the South committed to serving the poor and abandoned, and was recognized for her generous spirit and joyful smile. She continues to share these gifts with those with whom she lives and ministers.
