Sister Mary Agnes Nagle, MSBT

Celebrating 60 Years

Sister Mary Agnes Nagle entered the MSBTs on August 5, 1963 and initially took the name “Sister Mary Cabrini of the Abandoned Christ”. She professed her final vows on March 25, 1971. During her 60 years as an MSBT, Sister served in Uniontown, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Philadelphia, MS; Beloit, WI; Kiln, MS; Rock Hill, SC; West Point, VA; Dover, MA; Silver Spring, MD and Montgomery, AL. Sister’s ministries included Parish Ministry, Senior Services, and Catholic Social Services. In her application letter to our General Custodian (Reverend Mother), Mother Marie of the Holy Trinity, Sr. Mary Agnes wrote she would very much like to enter the MSBTs to serve God through her service to others. During her many years as an MSBT Sister has been a faithful instrument of God’s love and kindness to others. Sister Mary Agnes is currently missioned to Wesley Enhanced Living in Philadelphia PA. Sister was born in Mobile AL, is very proud of her Southern roots, and often welcomes visitors with a hearty “Welcome y’all!”.
